We are registered with The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria as corporate members and as a firm. We are also registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
Our key personnel are graduates of Estate Management who have many years of post graduation and license experience. Some of them are fellows (highest grade of membership) of the profession they belong. Besides, they are members and licencees of the profession's regulating bodies - The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers and Estate Surveyors & Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria, a body established by Decree No. 24 of 1975; Cap III LFN 1990.
To remain focused and relevant, we attend the profession's regulating bodies Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars, workshops and conferences aimed at the systematic maintenance, improvement, sharpening and broadening of the personal skills necessary for the execution of the professional and technical duties of the Estate Surveyor & Valuer.
The firm was founded by Messrs. O.P. Omorodion and H.E. Omosigho who are both registered Estate Surveyors & Valuers. The partners are supported by a team of qualified Estate Surveyors and Valuers and other qualified sub-professionals as well as qualified and experienced technical staff. The organisation is set-up in such a way that it can mobilise all its resources to execute any job quickly and efficiently to the highest possible ethical professional standards
The firm is divided into the following four main departments:
The department is responsible for the management of Industrial, commercial and residential properties under our portfolio. Besides property rating administration and management, the collection of property rates is also handled by the department which also supervises and does repair and redecoration of buildings we manage. The firm currently manages single dwelling houses, shops, residential estates, industrial properties and multi-occupied office and shop buildings for a variety of clients.
The valuation of all types of property including plant and machinery is handled by this department. This department which also handles rating valuations provides punctual valuation services for joint venture developments, development financing, acquisition, compensation, oil spillage, agriculture, balance sheets, merger or take-over, share issues, mortgage, fire insurance, disposals or any other purpose. Compulsory Acquisition Claims which includes enumeration of crops/structures and assessment of compensation payable therefrom whether for claimants affected or on behalf of Acquiring Authorities is also handled by this department.
The sale or purchase, letting or taking on lease of all types of industrial, commercial and residential properties including land is handled by this department. In Nigeria's highly volatile property market, whether in Port Harcourt, Benin City, Lagos, Abuja or in other urban and rural centres, expert advice is essential to ensure that best terms are obtained for property transactions and that sales and lettings are properly completed from both the financial and legal points of view. By means of our network of offices, we are able to give immediate advice on how a property should be marketed and at what price or rent anywhere in Nigeria.
The development department provides full project management including initial feasibility study, finance procurement, site acquisition, co¬ordination of construction and letting or disposal of completed developments in conjunction with Agency Department.
Generally, we provide appropriate communication, coordination and management in dealing with design and construction teams directed towards safeguarding employers building interests and producing end result within programme, cost and quality parameters as jointly agreed from time to time and also, endeavour to create a positive constructive and communication environment within which the project team would be encouraged to operate. We measure and value works carried out during construction together with the value of any variation which may have been authorized.
